<img src="http://www.lacoctelera.com/myfiles/gamuza/tekkonkinkreet-_.jpg" id="img_0" class="imgcen" height="569" width="430"><strong>- Argumento:</strong> En Treasure Town, la vida puede ser tan agradable como brutal. <strong>Black y White,</strong> dos chiquillos de las calles, vigilan la ciudad presentando batalla a un grupo de Yakuza a la antigua usanza y a asesinos alienígenas que compiten por gobernar la metrópolis en decadencia.<img src="http://www.lacoctelera.com/myfiles/gamuza/tekkon_kinkreet_gamuza-06.jpg" id="img_1" class="imgcen" height="3421" width="470">- Comentario (extraido de la página <a href="http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/reviews/1/940861.html" title="http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/reviews/1/940861.html" id="link_0">Film Affinity):</a> Pasa casi siempre en las películas japonesas de animación, que nos encontramos con cintas técnicamente irreprochables pero con poco contenido o, al menos, uno no tan bueno como sería de esperar. En el caso de esta película no tenemos un completo fracaso ni mucho menos. Michael Arias levanta una obra basada en el manga homónimo de Taiyou Matsumoto y que nos lleva a un mundo sin ley, a la Ciudad del Tesoro, donde las pequeñas bandas han tomado la ciudad. Un par de huérfanos son "los amos" del lugar hasta la llegada de los Yakuza y un nuevo aliado de éstos que intentará asesinar a los críos para dominar la zona. Como veis, el punto de partida es presumiblemente violento y esto se mantiene toda la obra: sangre, palizas a menores, amputamientos... no es una película de Disney ni lo pretende. Por suerte, tenemos bien dibujadas las personalidades de todos los personajes, hasta el punto de importarnos cuando algo sucede.<br />
La animación es, como he comentado arriba, espléndida. El estilo es único, nunca se han visto diseños similares a éstos, la ciudad está detalladísima, mucho más que los de joyitas como "Tokyo Godfathers", las animaciones de los personajes son geniales, los efectos de luz... en este aspecto es de 10. Hay de hecho una escena que me dejó boquiabierto, algo que poca veces me había pasado (y eso que he visto infinidad de películas de este estilo): unos 30 minutos antes de acabar la cinta, hay una escena en un parque de atracciones donde aparece un personaje pegando un salto. El llegar el suelo, se levanta una piedra y desde ese ángulo la cámara empieza a girar sobre él, hasta llegar a su rostro. El dinamismo con el que está rodada esa secuencia es tan, tan brutal, que no he podido evitar verla repetidas veces intentando averiguar cómo se hizo. Del mismo modo, los 30 minutos finales son dignos de enmarcar, mezclándose secuencias oníricas, experimentales, con varios elementos "pastel" y pseudo-apocalípticos.<img src="http://www.lacoctelera.com/myfiles/gamuza/tekkon_kinkreet_gamuza-09.jpg" id="img_0" class="imgcen" height="1966" width="460">- Ha recibido numerosos premios (en el Festival de Berlin, Festival Internacional de Hong Kong -HKIFF-, Mainichi Film Concours, ect). También ha sido nominada a los premios Oscars de este año 2008.<br />
